About her
Upfront, I am in California. Yes, it's a big pond, and yes, there are lots of guys here, but the type of guys I meet don't seem to resonate with me. I grew up in New York State, so perhaps it's a cultural type thing (East vs. West Coast?) I'm just wondering if the grass is greener on the other side of the proverbial pond.... There's also these great inventions of the internet, telephone, texting, and jet airplanes.... and I'm game if you are!
So here it goes...
I am the youngest of 4 kids.
I have a dog Guinness, & a parrot Allen. I rescued Allen in West Hollywood from two hungry hawks. The rest is history. I prefer dogs, but Allen is a piece of work & I laugh constantly at and with him. (Yes, he has a full on belly laugh, it's hilarious!)
Lived overseas for a short time, studied classical piano & was flute player, I raced J-24’s in Chesapeake Bay, then moved to California & am learning to sail tall ships now.
I was a long-distance cyclist few years ago & completed multiple century rides >medal photo< but now just ride for fun. I've toured Canada, Montana, Wyoming & Idaho. I camped, but I think nowadays I’d settle for a nice hotel room w/hot shower & a glass of wine instead of a tent! Bike pics are 6 yrs ago- full disclosure.
I've jumped out of a perfectly good airplane but wouldn’t describe myself as a huge risk taker. One and done.
Career-wise, I settled on dental hygiene, but this year I started my own company importing handmade lighting from Ukraine.
I do my best & always love a good challenge.
