About her
A seasoned Londoner, with a thing about the sea. Empathetic, observant, cheeky and affectionate, I am equally at home in city galleries and libraries or in a tent in the wilds.
Like many of us here, there has been some re-modelling in recent years (not in the plastics department, you understand!). Now working as a lecturer in 20th century art history and managing on the whole to take myself seriously, with the occasional wry smile at my late ambition and its numerous pitfalls.
I’m a total nature-lover who knows the thrill of plunging feet in an icy stream after a mountain walk. Am fit but no gym bunny: in the past it was sailing and summer swimming, and now regular yoga helps to keep mind and body in balance. Have also taken to open-water swimming, where I am in my element. Otherwise, I am also a dedicated cook, experienced gardener, novice guitar player, occasional creative writer.
I know what love isn’t: I also know that life is short and that passion is neither dead nor deliverable by drone.

I am told most men look at the first photograph and move on, so if you have read this far then I'm inclined to like you already 😉 I guess I am quite demanding of life and would like to find someone on my wavelength; to feel at ease but also to dare a little.
