Things I can't do / am not keen on:
* Seflies. Don't get it. This is also why my profile photos are actually probably a slightly poor reflection on me, rather than catfish-y, ironically! The only selfie I've taken recently is off me in a loo, and that was because I was taking the p*** out of selfies. Now it's my profile on a dating website, because I don't have enough photos of myself. Oh, the terrible irony...
Things I really love (excluding the obvious family and friends malarkey):
* A book I once read about a boy who could draw whatever he wanted and it came to life - tried for days. No avail.
* That very particular feeling of laughing into the wind that you get from sailing / surfing / anything sea related
* Knowing you're about to taste your first hearty stew of autumn
* Being unable to not make an out-loud-sound upon completion of particularly good book / article / theory
* Things that are so funny that you can still laugh out loud just by remembering them. Everything is funny. Life is very funny.
* The privilege of someone else's kid liking you enough that they hold your hand / fall asleep on you.
* This list is endless. I'll change it, undoubtedly. I love so many things.
Umm... I'm an academic, so I definitely enjoy thinking about things in an even-handed and respectful way, I don't like talking in a way that assumes absolute knowledge. There's no such thing, and it's so lovely to hear others' thoughts.
