About her
My friends would describe me as energetic, warm, caring, creative and devoted. I have a love of music, literature, theory (I am an academic), the outdoors, travelling, films....love most things. My hobbies are poetry writing, mountain walking, studying French (more recent activation of old French skills), cooking, politics and travel. I relax in a lot of different ways: exercise, reading, long hot baths, documentaries, spending time with friends and my family. My outlook on life is a difficult one: as Camus once said: ' we are strangers to ourselves'. But I like to think that I am positively focused, forward looking, a planner, a caring and kind person with a big heart and enjoy a laugh. Lots of joie de vivre, I think:)

Someone who is energetic and has similar interests. I don't have an ideal type but appreciate caring and warm men who like to plan and do fun things but are also content just hanging out in their own skin. Not really looking for someone who just wants a partner because she is just there - I know there are a lot of people who want that but that is not me. That is not because I think there should be pressure but that sort of relationship doesn't really last - people have to work at things if they want it to stay alive. Part of the deal but for now friendship is a start.
