Now my children have left home I’m exploring many things. I’ve bought a small Campervan, I have signed up to study for an MA, I walk (with my terrier), read, involved in local activism. Also yoga, tai chi, meeting (often on zoom) with my friends.
I don’t enjoy daily housework, washing and cooking grind, and now I have to do this much less.
Music - soul/reggae/blues/Van/Elgar/Brahms etc etc helps get through this. Not power ballads and NOT mor American rock. God forbid.
Art and culture is a bit thin on the ground at the moment but I have managed a couple of masked gallery visits which is better than not visiting at all. I did work part time in the theatre but no longer - and my other work as a therapist is slightly in limbo as people are worried about the virus. Hey ho.
