About her
OK, here we go. After a lot of persuasion from family and friends, I've finally taken the plunge. The only trouble is, now I've got to write something about myself, something which makes everyone think "My goodness, I've got to meet this woman". Is that possible? Who knows. Here goes.
I'm a 70 year who in her head, thinks she is still only about 60. I don't feel how I think a 70 year old should feel. I don't want to feel how I think a 70 year old should feel. If possible, I don't want to think about my age.
I'm very active - 1 still work 4 days a week. I love my job - I love the fact it keeps my brain active, I love the fact that I work with people of all ages. I love getting outside and walking - something that benefits me mentally and physically. I absolutely love dancing and music and I love travelling. My favourite trip was going to Iceland, going whale watching and seeing the northern lights - something I had dreamed of doing my whole life. My ideal holidays are no longer lying on a beach in the sun. I like seeing the sights and getting as much from the experience as possible.
I'm a very practical person. I like solving problems and will always have a go if something needs fixing. Even if I was a millionaire, I would still try doing it myself - I like the challenge. I am also creative and love making things - sewing, knitting etc.
I like to think I'm a generous person who is honest and loyal, there if someone needs a hand or a shoulder to cry on. When I make a friend, it will invariably be a friend for life. I love my friends and I love my family. Both are very important to me. I have a good sense of humour and that is important for me in a relationship.
I'm not looking for anything specific at the moment - I want to explore this and see where it goes.

My ideal match would be someone who is kind, caring and has a good sense of humour. They should be active, love the outdoors and walking. They should also love music as I love to listen to music every day. Ideally they should be concerned about the environment - someone who considers this is important. Some of my favourite things are music, dancing, nature, going to the theatre and cinema. I love going out and about, no matter what the weather. Finally, they should be a tolerant person who doesn't mind discussing what is going on in the world around us - I love a healthy discussion :)
