About him
I don't really wish to write an essay. Better to meet and talk. I have lived and worked around the world. Possibly as a result of that still a fully committed "remainer". Enjoy discovering other cultures. Like to travel. Enjoy meaningful / challenging conversation, smiles and laughter. Enjoy being outdoors walking, sailing, cycling, golf, watching rugby but that is complemented by equal enjoyment from museums, theater, live music, laughter, flirting, good food and wine. Derive great pleasure from my involvement with my old university, one of Scotland's ancients. I am fortunate that I have both a place right on the sea just north of Inverness for all the outdoors stuff and a spacious flat in Edinburgh's New Town for the city stuff. I enjoy a good party and am often the organiser. Enjoy listening to Radio 4, Radio 2 and Classic FM. I am very tactile and derive (currently miss) great pleasure from kissing, cuddling and intimacy with female company. This last is very important as I suspect it is also for many of us but there is a reluctance to be up front about it.

Ideally someone who enjoys and is willing to share a number of the things I like, such as watching rugby and being outdoors, concerts, theatre. Aware of and interested in current affairs plus enjoys a good discussion / even argument on the "big" questions of the day.
