I’ve a natural appetite for learning –comfortably surrounded by books and not afraid to examine new ideas and discoveries.
Working with my hands in the garden or doing wood carving is the way I express some of my creativity. Happy pottering in the greenhouse or fiddling around outside…
Breathing in all that is in nature keeps me grounded and I love the outdoors in so many ways, watching birds and animals, smelling the forests and the sea. I am alive with the sun on my face….
My spirituality is essentially Buddhist but I don’t call myself a buddhist, if that makes sense… For me, spirituality is not solely a cerebral experience but one that is expressed essentially in kindness and compassion… (always working at that).
While I’m not excessively adventurous, travelling is best done with someone else and who better than a partner to share the fun. I enjoy the occasional drink but I wouldn’t describe myself as a barfly. I’ve an eclectic taste in music but tend to be more in touch with the classical genre. On a lighter note, I have been described as a bit of a rascal. So I suppose I enjoy a laugh as well
