About her
I was married for over 30 years and know the value of long term relationships, as well as the hard work they need. I’m close to my kids, love what I do, but also optimistic that there’s another half an adult life out there for me,
which I’d like to spend with someone else. I am energetic, loving, funny ( on a good day) and keen on monogamy.
I like going to galleries, enjoy classical music and opera at the Barbican, RFH, ROH etc, and travelled a fair bit pre lockdown. In recent constrained months I’ve caught up on some reading ( can’t kick the daily paper habit; TLS; LRB when I pick up a copy in their bookshop; The Week; finally getting through novels again) and re- discovered the joy of growing vegetables in my greenhouse. I divide my time between homes in London and Oxfordshire.
I also enjoy occasional Netflix series ( usually pre- watched and recommended by my kids) and attended an eclectic (ie you might roll your eyes when you hear what) selection of live music gigs before the world closed down.
I’m an arts based academic, very lucky to have found a second career after I had brought up my children.

I’m amused to hear that people regularly lie about their age on these sites and although that is obviously very tempting, particularly for women d’un certain âge, if I tried to be deceitful I have 3 children who would blow the gaff the moment you met them.

I value people who are kind and funny ( not kind of funny). My friends, many of whom I’ve known since university, are interested in the world, animated by culture in the broadest sense of the word, open to others, not sweating the small stuff.
