About him
I’m warm and friendly, with an enthusiastic and positive outlook on life. I enjoy a wide range of activities, including regular trips to London, the cinema, exploring the Chilterns and Cotswolds.
I’m now retired from my previous career, working for over 40 years in Health and Social Services, helping people recover from emotional and psychological difficulties.
And in this new chapter of my life I now spend my time: with friends and family; getting regular fresh air restoring some woodland in the Chilterns; researching in the Bodleian Library (I will say more when we meet); and doing lots of yoga (I trained to be a yoga teacher earlier on this year.)
I’m a big music lover…especially jazz, alongside folk and blues….and then occasionally I play the violin…
And for holidays….I regularly visit the Hebrides….(a love affair of over 40 years) and Crete….where I explore the mountains, villages and beaches where few tourists go for several weeks a year in April and October.
And whilst it might appear that I am very busy, it is actually not the case…with enough time to share all sorts of - as yet unknown - activities and adventures with someone special.
