I am reasonably fit and active, love the outdoors (mainly when the sun is shining and it's warmer), but walk daily if possible, even in the winter, but not in the rain! I also love to swim (indoors and outdoors). Very much an animal lover. Am caring, compassionate, Liberal thinker with green tendencies, great sense of humour -- always a fan of Morcambe & Wise, Victoria Wood, etc. I am approachable and friendly by nature and have always tried to look after myself and I'm lucky enough to have inherited good genes! Detest exploitation and abuse of animals, children. Very musical, was a former professional singer when younger Still sing occasionally now, but mainly for charity. Have been involved with voluntary work throughout my retirement. Love sun, sea and sand, my family and despite some disappointments retain a positive, hopeful, but realistic outlook on life. My almost ideal match MUST be an animal lover. Someone who is caring and understanding, with a holistic outlook, educated, with a good sense of humour A man who is humane and accepting, who is comfortable in their own skin, sensitive and has a keen sense of social justice. Ideally, someone that is not totally prescriptive age-wise in his search for a match and is open-minded. Preferably someone who looks after himself that can and enjoys to cook! (I do and like to cook). Someone who likes the sun and prefers the warmer weather.
