I’ve led a really interesting life. I have lived in the US (Boston) and Italy (Tuscany). My goal is to travel more when I’ve finished my nursing degree. I’d love to do some work for the Red Cross or Medicines San Frontiers in Africa and the far East.
I decided to return to university after managing a mobile MRI company at 48. It’s been somewhat challenging since I hadn’t studied in 26 years though I’m loving it. I work in a hospice part-time for Sue Ryder which is exceptionally rewarding.
In my spare time at home I love to read, play scrabble and hang out with my two dogs: a Border Collie (Bertie) and a Boston Terrier named Norman. Typically the little one rules the big one.
When I go out, I enjoy heading [@]for jazz, shopping around Leeds and eating fine foods in exquisite restaurants. Rarely I make it to the theatre and cinema.
I live on a farm in the countryside with outstanding views. Naturally I love going for walks [@]
My 22 year old son lives with me though we lead very separate lives. He’s saving up to move out with his girlfriend though that could take a while in this economical climate.
Friends say I’m gregarious, warm hearted and relaxing to be around. I like to chat though equally love the quiet. I’m happy in my own company and would love to share my free time with someone special.
